It will soon be time for the UK’s only Digital Storytelling Festival, DS7. Bookings are going well and this is the last week to send in your form.
This year it is hosted by the University of Glamorgan’s George Ewart Evans Centre for Storytelling and will be held at Chapter Arts in Cardiff on Thursday 7th June 2012. Book your place now.
This year’s speakers include Annie Correal of Cowbird, Natasha Armstong of Historypin and Joe Lambert from The Center for Digital Storytelling.
I am teaming up with Bridget Foreman to run a session on Tall Stories – where digital storytelling meets the stage. We ran a week long workshop at the Riding Lights Summer Theatre School last year and staged a production of personal stories at the end of the week. We are running the same workshop at the summer school this year too so if you like what we say at DS7 it won’t be too late to book in for the week at RLSTS in July.
